The firm did deliver on the promise by releasing the first Oxygen OS 12.1-based Open Beta for the OnePlus 7 series. However, the stable channel continues to receive its bi-monthly security patches. Here is the latest Oxygen OS 11.0.9.1 for OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, and 7T Pro available for download.
Today, the OnePlus 7 series received a minor incremental OTA update featuring the June 2022 security patches. This means that OnePlus’ focus is not on Android 11 anymore but rather on optimizing the upcoming Oxygen OS 12.1 firmware. It also means that the next update may very well be the stable Android 12 version; which may come around September 2022.
The latest OxygenOS 11.0.9.1 OTA update features June 2022 security patch level and a few system improvements. This includes reduced power consumption and improved overheating control management.
Some apps like File Manager, OnePlus Camera, and the Phone app also got updated in the previous updates. OnePlus finally fixed the issue where the camera was blurred when shooting on fullscreen size.
